I reached Holly and Joseph to photograph their wedding in the English countryside, in Devon, just outside Totnes.
It all began with a small dinner the night before, somewhere among the fields. Just close friends, good food, and that quiet feeling before it all begins.
I photographed it with my old Yashica 6×6 and my Leica M7. The light was soft, the mood easy. Everything felt unhurried. I felt close to them right away.
Some stories don’t need time to start, they feel natural from the very first moment.
The following day unfolded in that same English countryside where, despite the distance from my homeland, I always find a light and a sweetness that make me feel at home.
Nothing was asked of the place or of the people, only to be present.
This wedding reflects deeply the kind of work and the kind of relationships I care about most.
A shared trust, a gentle rhythm, and the freedom to let things happen as they are.
